Terms & Conditions and House Regulations
By confirming a reservation at Casa Sol, guests agree to the terms and conditions below, as well as the booking conditions shown at the time of reservation.
1. Reservations
All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by Casa Sol.
Guests are required to provide accurate booking details, including full name, contact information, arrival date, departure date, and number of guests.
The name on the reservation must match the main guest staying at the property.
Any request to change a reservation must be sent in writing to Casa Sol. Changes are subject to availability, rate differences, and the cancellation conditions attached to the reservation.
Room numbers are not guaranteed unless the booked category refers to a single specific room, or unless a specific room has been confirmed in writing by Casa Sol.
2. Payment
Payment terms depend on the rate selected at the time of booking.
Deposits, prepayments, due dates, and remaining balances are shown during the booking process and in the reservation confirmation or invoice.
A reservation is guaranteed only once the required payment has been completed within the stated timeframe.
Casa Sol reserves the right to release or cancel an unpaid reservation if payment is not completed by the required due date.
3. Taxes and Service Charges
All rates are quoted in Indonesian Rupiah.
Applicable government taxes and service charges are shown at the time of booking and included in the reservation confirmation or invoice.
Rates may be displayed as tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive depending on the booking channel.
Government taxes are applied in accordance with Indonesian law and applicable local regulations in Badung Regency, Bali.
Service charges, when applied, are not a government tax and are shown separately or included as stated during the booking process.
Casa Sol reserves the right to adjust taxes, service charges, or statutory fees if required by a change in law, local regulation, or government policy.
4. Cancellation and No Arrival
Cancellations made 7 days or more before the scheduled arrival date are eligible for a 100% refund.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled arrival date are not refundable.
If a guest does not arrive for the reservation, the full reservation amount will be charged.
Early departures and shortened stays after arrival are not refundable.
Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method whenever possible. Processing time depends on the payment provider or bank.
5. Arrival and Departure
Arrival is from 2:00 PM.
Departure is until 10:00 AM.
Early arrival and late departure are subject to availability and prior confirmation.
Late departure charges apply when relevant.
A valid passport or government issued ID is required at arrival for each guest.
Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight.
6. Adults Only Stay
Casa Sol is an adults only stay.
Guests must be 18 years old or above to stay at the property.
Casa Sol reserves the right to refuse arrival if a guest does not meet the minimum age requirement.
7. Occupancy and Visitors
Room occupancy must not exceed the maximum number of guests stated in the confirmed room category.
Visitors must be registered with reception.
Visitors are not permitted to stay overnight unless approved by Casa Sol.
Casa Sol reserves the right to refuse access to unregistered visitors.
8. Room Categories and Features
Room size, layout, view, bathtub, hammock, and outdoor space vary by room category.
Specific features are guaranteed only when included in the confirmed room category.
Ocean-facing rooms, bathtubs, hammocks, or other specific features are only included when stated in the booked room category.
9. Property Atmosphere
Casa Sol is a calm adults-only property.
Guests are asked to respect the quiet atmosphere of the property, the comfort of other guests, neighboring properties, and the surrounding community.
Parties, private events, loud music, and disruptive behavior are not permitted.
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Rooms must not be used for parties, private events, commercial activity, meetings, filming, photoshoots, or content production without written approval from Casa Sol.
10. Animals and Pets
Pets and animals are not permitted at Casa Sol.
This policy helps preserve the quiet atmosphere of the property and the comfort of all guests.
If an assistance animal is required under applicable law, guests must contact Casa Sol before arrival so our team can review the request and prepare accordingly.
11. Smoking
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside rooms or indoor areas.
Guests must use designated outdoor smoking areas only.
Guests are responsible for any additional cleaning, deodorizing, repair, replacement, or restoration costs resulting from smoking, vaping, damage, stains, misuse, or violation of these house regulations.
Costs may be charged based on the actual expense incurred by Casa Sol, including third-party cleaning or repair services when required.
Casa Sol reserves the right to temporarily block or charge the payment method on file until damage inspection or cleaning assessment has been completed.
Permanent stains or damage to linens, towels, robes, mattresses, furniture, or fixtures may result in replacement charges.
12. Prohibited Items and Illegal Activity
Guests must not bring illegal, dangerous, flammable, hazardous, or disruptive items onto the property.
In accordance with Indonesian law, Casa Sol maintains a strict zero tolerance policy regarding illegal drugs, narcotics, weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, and any prohibited or restricted items.
Illegal activity, violence, threats, harassment, theft, public disturbance, or any behavior that puts guests, staff, property, or neighbors at risk is strictly prohibited.
Casa Sol reserves the right to refuse service, contact the relevant authorities, cancel a reservation, or end a stay if a guest violates Indonesian law or these house regulations.
13. Environmental Care
Guests are kindly asked to switch off lights, air conditioning, and water when leaving the room.
This helps us reduce unnecessary energy and water use while keeping Casa Sol calm and considered.
14. Damage, Loss, and Guest Responsibility
Guests are responsible for any damage, loss, missing items, excessive cleaning, or misuse caused during their stay.
Casa Sol reserves the right to charge the guest for repair, replacement, additional cleaning, deodorizing, restoration, or lost property belonging to the hotel.
Minibar items, additional services, damages, missing items, or unpaid charges remaining after departure may be charged to the payment method provided at booking.
Guests are asked to use the safe in the room for valuables.
Casa Sol is not responsible for personal belongings left unattended.
Lost items will be kept for 30 days after departure. Shipping costs, when applicable, are the guest’s responsibility.
15. Safety and Access
Casa Sol reserves the right to refuse service, cancel a reservation, or end a stay in cases of non payment, unsafe behavior, illegal activity, disturbance, damage, smoking violations, unregistered guests, or breach of these terms.
Pool areas, stairs, balconies, outdoor bathtubs, rain showers, and walkways may become slippery.
Guests use all facilities at their own risk and are asked to take appropriate care at all times.
The pool at Sol Rooftop Bali is unattended and no lifeguard is on duty.
Children visiting the property must remain supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Casa Sol maintains emergency response procedures in accordance with local safety requirements and guidance from the relevant Indonesian authorities.
In case of emergency, safety concern, maintenance issue, suspected illegal activity, or prolonged inability to contact a guest, Casa Sol reserves the right to enter the room when necessary.
16. Services and Amenities
Services such as airport transfers, minibar, laundry, special setups, and external arrangements are included only when stated in the reservation or confirmed in writing.
Alcoholic items in the minibar are available only to guests aged 21 years old or above, in accordance with Indonesian regulations. Casa Sol reserves the right to remove alcoholic minibar items or refuse alcohol service when age verification is not provided.
Access to the pool at Sol Rooftop Bali is available during Sol Rooftop Bali operating hours only and remains subject to venue availability, private events, weather conditions, maintenance, and venue house rules.
Pool access does not include reserved seating, daybeds, or special event access unless otherwise stated.
Outside food deliveries are permitted. Guests are kindly asked to keep rooms clean and dispose of waste properly to avoid insects, odors, or disturbance.
Operating hours, shared facilities, and services are subject to change when required by operational needs, weather conditions, safety concerns, internet outage, utility interruption, maintenance, or events outside Casa Sol’s control.
17. Photoshoots, Drones, and Commercial Content
Casa Sol is a private adults-only property.
Professional photography, video shoots, drone use, commercial content, brand shoots, influencer campaigns, paid content, sponsored content, product shoots, and content created for commercial use require written approval from Casa Sol before arrival.
Drones are not permitted on or above the property without written approval from Casa Sol.
Guests must not film or photograph other guests, staff, private rooms, neighboring properties, or restricted areas without permission.
Approved shoots must respect the privacy, calm atmosphere, and safety of the property at all times.
Casa Sol reserves the right to stop any photoshoot, video shoot, drone activity, or content production that has not been approved in writing.
Casa Sol also reserves the right to refuse or stop any content activity that disturbs other guests, affects privacy, creates safety concerns, or conflicts with the property’s atmosphere.
18. Local Environment and Balinese Culture
Casa Sol is located in Bali and guests may occasionally experience local ceremonies, religious events, cultural activities, processions, offerings, traffic restrictions, beach restrictions, music, or community gatherings in and around the surrounding area.
Certain Balinese holidays, including Nyepi Day, may involve temporary restrictions affecting transportation, airport operations, outdoor activity, lighting, noise levels, internet availability, mobile networks, business operations, or access to public areas in accordance with local regulations and traditions.
Guests are kindly asked to respect local customs, religious practices, ceremonies, and the surrounding community during their stay.
19. Force Majeure
Casa Sol is not responsible for disruption, delay, relocation, cancellation, evacuation, closure, or interruption caused by events outside its control, including extreme weather, natural events, government action, internet outage, utility interruption, transport disruption, emergency, or force majeure.
20. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
Any dispute relating to a reservation or stay at Casa Sol will be handled in accordance with Indonesian law and the applicable jurisdiction in Bali, Indonesia.
